This fall M Contemporary Art partners with Next:Space Detroit for the exhibition Collecting x Design as well as for the Detroit Month of Design 2021.

Brian Day recently photographed Michigan’s Pigeon River Country State Forest for the Wall Street Journal’s article “Michigan’s Carbon Offset Deal Helps Michigan Cash In on Its Trees—by Not Cutting Them Down.”

Every four years since 1963, a small group of students has traveled to New York City, with University funds, to purchase art for Wake Forest’s Student Union art collection. They are charged with choosing works that reflect the times.

M Contemporary Art has been selected for the 2021 Best of Ferndale Award in the Art Gallery category by the Ferndale Award Program.

This summer, Hamtramckan Chris Schneider and myself explored several midwestern states, to photograph the small towns and rural landscapes of the often-overlooked American heartland. Partially funded by a grant from Detroit’s Red Bull House of Art, we visited eight states, and stopped in over 50 towns.
